I goofed on the liquid soap from Walmart. Without thinking I picked up the clear "anti-bacterial" kind instead of the kind I usually buy. Now I'll have to drag it back next week and exchange it. I generally avoid buying anything that's anti-bacterial.

I'm not sure why the strawberry jam was marked down but it may have been because a leaky jar had gotten jam on the label. There were two jars in the clearance bin and both had some jam on them. I checked to see what the regular price was, to make sure that it was a good deal, and I think it was around $2.69. The bacon at Food Town was a steal. I've never tried that kind but how bad could it be for only 99-cents? It was marked down because it expires on Saturday. That's OK because I put two packages in the freezer and I'm going to cook the third one today. I know that I said I wasn't going to buy any more meat for a while but I couldn't resist two small packages of ground beef and chicken thighs. I was going to get some of the thighs last week, while they were on sale, but they were out of them. The strawberry gelatin was marked down because the box is dented. I just hope that it's not another defective batch like I've gotten twice lately from two different stores.

I went over my budget slightly this week because I found this cute sundress for only $10.00 at Walmart:
