I got a pretty good deal on those two steaks. They were marked down to $3.99 pound which is less than half price according to the stickers. Gone are the days of finding ribeye steaks marked down to $1.99 pound and 99-cents pound marked down hamburger. Beef has more than doubled in price over the past few years.
I bought the green peppers at Sprouts this morning to make Sloppy Joe Stuffed Peppers. I'm heading to the kitchen right now to make them.
